Tausendmal

Tausend Tage vergehn,
tausend Winde verwehn,
tausendmal schon wollt` ich gehn,
tausendmal schon wollt` ich dich niemals wieder sehn,
tausendmal schon wollt` ich dich vergessen,
tausendmal schon war ich davon wie besessen,
doch dich zu vergessen hab` ich noch nie geschafft,
dazu fehlt mir wahrscheinlich noch die nötige Kraft!
Aber wie denn, wenn ich dich wie Luft zum Atmen brauche,
wie denn, wenn ich dich wie eine Droge rauche?
Niemals werd` ich mich dir entreißen können, wie auch,
wenn ich dich, wie andre die Luft, zum Weiterleben brauch`!
